Value Delivered

Because this client’s data center was on the second floor of a three-story building, our main challenge was fitting equipment and materials for the installation into the facility’s elevators.

To overcome this challenge, we worked closely with the equipment manufacturers to design units that fit within the available space. This allowed us to move all equipment and materials into the occupied facility without disrupting day-to-day activities.

Our solutions helped to lower energy costs, increase energy efficiency, provide effective data center cooling, and achieve a more comfortable and productive working environment.

Client Objectives

To meet growth demands, the client needed us to provide an energy-efficient, state-of-the-art central plant and a 3,800-linear-foot chilled water loop to serve their data center.

  • Three 300-ton chillers
  • Three 100-horsepower pumps
  • Two fan coil units
  • Four 20-ton air conditioning units
