Safety/Loss Control Director
Clarence applies his extensive knowledge and experience to integrate safety into every task at hand. He provides clarity and direction on how to achieve safe and healthy job sites for Gowan/Garrett, Inc.’s specialists, including plumbers, pipefitters, and sheet metal workers.
As an OSHA-authorized construction trainer, Clarence provides safety training for all Gowan/Garrett, Inc. employees. He uses a practical, interactive approach to help ensure consistent application of correct safety procedures.
Clarence has over 47 years of experience in the construction industry. He has served as our Safety/Loss Control Director since 2013.
He holds OSHA 10, 30, 500, 502, and 510 certifications, and completes additional training every year to stay current on changes in regulations.
Clarence has a plumbing license with a medical gas certification, and has completed multiple HVAC courses since 2001.
